Grandpa, You will be sadly missed but never forgotten. I will always remember your encouragement of my piano playing. It was playing on your grand piano when I was very young that gave me a love of the instrument and you spotted that I was using harmonies and encouraged my parents to send me for piano lessons. Without your encouragement I might never have learned to play. I would love visits to your house to play in the ‘secret garden’ and it was at your table I tasted caviar for the first, and last, time!
